Archives of all known crop circle formations in Canada to date, currently 267 reports from at least 1925 to 2009. Reports from 1995 onwards are based primarily on investigations by CCCRN (formerly CPR-Canada until 2001) while pre-1995 reports are from many various sources. Statistical breakdowns of the numbers of reports by year, province/territory and crop/vegetation are listed below the archives. While some formations have been moderately geometrically complex, the majority, older cases in particular, have consisted of simpler circles and rings, similar to the majority of older reports in other countries.
These archives include flattened circular or other geometric formations in cereal crops, pasture fields or other vegetation. They do not include "other" types of circles (ice, snow, soil, sand, etc.).
In some cases, the exact location or year is not known. Few details are known for some older formations and it is possible that some of these may also be categorized as "other" if further information regarding them ever becomes available.
